Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this wrought iron hexagon Craftsman or Arts & Crafts lantern pendant that has been completely restored and dates to the 1920s. Creamy slag glass panels are original and undamaged. Overall width is 8″ and will drop 22″ from the ceiling once installed. Unique hexagon canopy is 5 ½” dia. x 2 ½”h. I had a fair amount of rust on it and was painted black which was peeling. After all of that was stripped off, this is the finish we found underneath so hit it with a coat of flat lacquer to keep it from rusting any further. The light is not wired for outdoor use where it would be exposed to the elements, but would probably be fine installed under an overhang on a porch. It accepts a standard base bulb and will come to you with updated period correct black cloth wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. A nice accent to your Arts & Crafts home.
Second City Salvage carefully packages and ships your item fully insured to the lower 48 states for FREE. Please contact us for a shipping quote to locations outside the Continental U.S.
