Second City Salvage is offering today this antique lower double hung sash for a rope and pulley window system (old school). The outside measurement is 23 3/4″ wide 24″ tall the wood surrounding the glass is 1 1/4″ thick, 2″ sides and the bottom rail is 3 ¼” depending on inside or out. The frame has a bevel or angle on the bottom. Exterior side of the window is painted. The glass itself is 20″×20″ and is set in the wood frame with glazing compound. No breaks to the glass and it is in mint condition. First picture shows the window with light shining through and those thereafter were shot on a backdrop. Hardware is original with the brass sash lift and lock (no keeper). Rare to find a textured piece in this amber color. Would be a great addition to a space that needs privacy, such as a bathroom.
