Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this old landing window that dates to the Arts & Crats era c1910-15. It was salvaged from an historic home in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago a few years ago and sits in its original frame which has been fully restored and painted a matte graphite color. The center pattern is in shades of green and purple opalescent and amber opalescent and textured glass and is what I would coin geometric with a center tulip or lotus flower. All of the glass is completely obscured so would be great for privacy. Overall, it measures 22″w x 41 ¼”h x 1 ¼” thick. Measurement for glass only is 17 ¾”w x 35 ¼”h. There are no cracks to the glass and the lead caming remains strong. This piece is a wonderful representation of the Arts & Crafts era.
