Second City Salvage is offering today this old transom window from the Arts & Crafts era c1910 that was salvaged from a Lake of the Isles south Minneapolis residence some years ago. It has a Witte Bros. look about it, but we have no provenance on that end – just my two cents. We had this piece restored from head to toe, replacing any crushed clear pieces, had lead resoldered and some replaced, but the opalescent pieces are all original. The original frame remains firm and unpainted. There are no cracks. Overall measurement is 52″w x 18″h and the glass dimension is 48″w x 14″h. A lovely representation of the Arts & Crafts era!
