Second City Salvage is offering today this amazing pair of forged wrought iron double arm torch or “dragon” sconces that date to the early 20th century around c1910. The finish was in deep trouble when we got these so gave them a good cleaning and then hit them with a coat of flat lacquer to keep them from rusting any further. The end result was fantastic! Wall plate is in the shape of a shield and the socket holders are tulip petals. Great forged detail too with the squiggly spiraled arm ends (so A&C!). Would be perfect in a Tudor setting as well. I am showing these lights with hand painted flame bulbs (not included) which are a great pairing for these lights. The sockets are very rare original “Weber” long stem paddle switch sockets which have been fully restored and light each socket individually. Great feature if they are not wired to a wall switch. These lights are hefty and each one measures 13″w x 9″h and will project 5″ from the wall once installed. They are not marked. These accept standard base bulbs, will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install.
