Second City Salvage is offering today this antique c1910 brass two-light pendant or chandelier with original period Emeralite cased glass shades by Wakefield Brass Company, Vermilion, OH (marked last photo). This light has been fully restored and is ready to install. The shades are in what I would consider to be mint condition with no major chips or cracks around the bottom edge, however there are a few chips around the fitter edge that disappear once the shades have been put on the shade holders. Not notable, but I have to mention. Overall measurement is 19″w and it will drop 27 ¼” from the ceiling once installed. Canopy is 4 ½” square x 4″h, shades themselves are 7″dia. x 5 ¼”h and have 2 ¼” fitters. The Hubbell shade holders have a patent date of 1904. It accepts standard base bulbs, will come with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. A rare find by Wakefield. Would be the perfect light for a den or office!
