Second City Salvage is offering today this brass pole pendant that dates to c1900. The shade is etched on the exterior and really makes a bold statement. It measures 6″w and will drop 28″ from the ceiling once installed. The pyramid or double pyramid shade itself measures 6″ square x 8 ¾”h and has a 3 ¼” fitter. This is a relatively rare shade as in 25 years in this business, I have not come across one. It is free of any major chips or cracks, but does have a couple of small chips around the fitter edge that disappear once the light is placed on the shade holder. These are not notable, but I have to mention. The canopy is 4″dia. x 4″h and the pole is 13″long. The shade holder is marked “MADE IN USA” with a patent date of Sep 23 ’90. It has the original restored keyless socket and the brass has retained its original patina. It has been tested, will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. Perfect for an entryway in your old (or new) space!
