Second City Salvage is offering today this way cool semi-flush mount fixture with an angled offset Holophane shade that is in mint condition. Unbelieveable that this shade has managed to survive this long without a single chip to the ribs! It is literally perfect. This light has a functional brass pull chain socket with an original brass acorn pull (rare). Overall measurement is 8 1/2″w and it will drop 8 3/4″ from the ceiling once installed. The shade itself is 8 1/2″ dia. x 4 1/2″h and has a 2 1/4″ fitter. It is marked HOLOPHANE USA PAT OCT 29 1912. Canopy/fitter is 5 1/2″ dia. x 4″h and retains its original patina. It has only been lightly cleaned. It would be a great light for a darker space as these shades throw out a TON of light. Pair it with an Edison bulb for a cool vintage look and the bonus is that the shade does not need to be removed in order to change the bulb. It accepts a standard base bulb and will come to you with updated wiring and a modern bracket needed for install.
