Second City Salvage is offering today this 4-light pan light that dates to the 1920s. It is marked R&S No. 1 which tells me it was manufactured by Russell & Stoll out of New York. It measures 20″w and will drop 33″ from the ceiling once installed. Embossed brass chain is 8″ long, canopy measures 4 1/2″dia. x 3″h, shades themselves are 3 ½”dia x 5″h with 2 ¼”fitters. All the components of this light are brass and it has a green polychrome finish with gold accents. Shades are period and have embossed roses on them in shades of green and gold as well. Shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, but maybe some roughness to the bottoms. It has been fully restored with new paddle switch sockets, accepts four standard base bulbs, will come to you with updated period correct gold cloth wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. Height is adjustable so we can shorten it if you wish. An elegant piece that would be perfect for a dining area.
Second City Salvage carefully packages and ships your item fully insured to the lower 48 states for FREE. Please contact us for a shipping quote to locations outside the Continental U.S.
