Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this restored pair of chrome sconces that date to the 1940s. They have a retro style and have the original cased glass shades in mint condition. Chrome finish is in excellent condition for the most part. On one of the sconces, there is a bit of loss to the plating on the bulb holder as shown in the last two photos. This is not noticeable unless scrutinized up close. There is no rust on either on the front sides, but some on the back. Switches on the bulb holders have been connected and are operational, but the outlet on one has been bypassed. They measure 3 3/8″w x 7 3/4″h and will project 5″ from the wall once installed. Wall plates measure 3 3/8″w x 6″h. Shades themselves are 3 ¼”w x 4 ½”h and have fitters that are 1 ½”dia. x ½”h. They accept a standard base bulb, will come with updated wiring and a modern bracket needed for installation. These would be perfect flanking a bathroom mirror or medicine cabinet in your retro bathroom or kitchen or even in a more modern setting – they are that versatile.
Second City Salvage carefully packages and ships your item fully insured to the lower 48 states for FREE. Please contact us for a shipping quote to locations outside the Continental U.S.
