Second City Salvage is offering today this lovely pair of reverse hand painted shades that are most likely Czech made. They date to c1910 and are in excellent condition with only a very fine hairline crack near the bottom edge of one that does not affect the integrity of the shade and also a very slight bit of paint loss (both noted in the last two photos). The pastoral pattern features trees in a meadow and a mountainous landscape and they literally glow when lit. Each shade measures 4″w x 5 1/4″h and have 2 1/4″ fitters. A lovely addition to a pair of lights or a fixture with two lights in your period home. Price is for the pair. We are not willing to separate these at this time.
