Description
This is a double-sided white milk glass Exit light fixture with bold red acid etched lettering (on two sides) on a brass fitter/canopy. It is a beefy piece and overall measurement is 6 3/4″w and will project/drop 9″ from the surface it is installed on. It can be used as either a ceiling light or sconce. The canopy is 6 3/4″ dia x 2″h. The shade itself is NOS and measures 5 1/2″w x 5 1/2″w x 7″h with a 3″ fitter and the glass is 1/8″ thick. The heavy white milk glass triangle shaped glass shade is in MINT condition. It is not marked, but I believe it was probably manufactured by Kopp. This light accepts a standard base bulb, has a new socket, has been rewired and will come to you with a bracket needed for install. Note on Kopp: Kopp started off doing glass for railroads (Union Switch and Signal was right next door), then expanded in residential including very nice table lamps under PL&B (Pittsburgh Lamp & Brass) name. That failed around the depression, but the founder kept the foundry alive and brought it back to the Kopp name, and focused again on primarily industrial.
