Second City Salvage is offering today this fantastic pair of c1910 brass sconces from the Arts & Crafts era. They have been paired with period Steuben art glass gold aurene shades that are both marked as such (last photo). One shade is in mint condition. The other one has two fairly large chips to the fitter, but those disappear once they are placed on the shade holder. Overall measurement is 3 1/2″w x 9 1/3″h and they will project 7″ from the wall once installed. The canopy is 4 1/2″ square x 3″h and the shades are 3 1/2″w x 5″h and have 2 ¼” fitters. The Steuben mark is worn and barely legible, but I was able to confirm through a Steuben group on line. Just fantastic and rare (hence the price). These will dress up your Arts & Crafts home like nobody’s business! We are not willing to separate this pair nor are we willing to sell the shades separately from the sconces or vice-a-versa.
