Second City Salvage is offering today this old c1920 cast iron porch light/sconce that has been restored and painted a satin black. A period octagon textured glass and lined globe shade has been added. Here are the dimensions! Wall plate is 4″w x 8 ¼”h, overall height is 13″ x 6″w and the projection from the wall once installed is 7″. The shade is 6″w x 5 1/2″h and has a 3″ fitter. The shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks, just some minor fading to the lines and some stubborn stains on the interior of the shade. It is a rare find. This light has some very simple Arts & Crafts detailing and will be a great focal point for an entry way. The light accepts a standard base bulb, has been tested, will come to you with updated wiring, a modern cross bar needed for install and will be ready to install. The shade does need to be removed for a bulb change so an LED is recommended.
