Second City Salvage is offering today this great old semi-flush mount ceiling light that has been fully restored. The brass fitter came to me with many coats of paint and once removed we found this beautiful brass – it has only been lightly cleaned. The globe is what gets me…. It is 7″ in diameter, period c1910, is etched on the interior and is in mint condition. Overall measurement is 7″w and it will drop 12″ from the ceiling once installed. The shade itself is 7″h and has a 4″ fitter. It emits a soft glow when lit. It accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with a new socket, updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. It’s simplicity is so perfect and the good news is that I have a second globe… Just need to find the fitter! What’s not to love here?
