Second City Salvage is offering today this fabulous nickel plated brass pendant that is modern (within the last 25 years) by Hudson Valley Lighting that I paired with this old c1904 Holophane Pagoda etched and wheel cut glass globe shade that is marked HOLOPHANE PAGODA PATENT JUNE 21 ’04 on fitter rim. This shade is extremely rare and to find one in this condition, even more rare. Overall, the pendant measures 7″w and will drop 24″ from the ceiling once installed. The canopy is 5″w x 2 1/2″h and the shade itself is 7″ dia x 7″ h and has a 4″ fitter. There is, however, a very tiny flea bite chip to the bottom of shade that is insignificant and not notable, but I have to mention (shown in the last photo). You have to really scrutinize it up close to see it and I almost missed it. Wiring has been updated. My vision for this light is for a pantry or maybe even a bathroom. It’s just a lovely piece that deserves to be a focal point in your period home.
