Second City Salvage is offering today this fabulous antique chandelier or 2-light pendant from the Arts & Crafts era c1905 that has been completely restored. It was lacquered when received so we were able to strip all of that off down to bare brass and then lightly cleaned it. It will darken over time as all components are either cast or stamped brass. It is not marked. Overall measurement is 30″w x 9″w and it will drop 27″ drop to the bottom edge of shades once installed. The bar is 27″w and the canopy is 4 1/2″ square x 3 3/4″h. The shades are in mint condition and are 9″ dia x 3 1/4″h with 2 1/4″ fitters that are each stamped HOLOPHANE on fitter rim. Pressure shade holders are stamped w a patent date Jun 22 ’05. It takes two standard base bulbs, will be tested rewired with gold period correct cloth wiring and come to you with a modern cross bar needed for install. A gorgeous period piece that will enhance and brighten any Arts & Crafts/Mission setting!
