Second City Salvage is offering today this pair of early c1895 Welsbach nickel plated brass sconces that were formerly gas and converted to electric. These have been fully restored and measure 7″w x 12″h (to the tip of the top bulb) and will project 9″ from the wall once installed. These lights have only been lightly cleaned, however some of the nickel plating has worn off on the sockets and the brass is showing through – I think that only adds to the character of these great old lights. I paired these with Sheffield shades that I think go well with the sconces. The shades are in mint condition. Shades are 7″w x 3″ and have 2 ¼” fitters. The lights each accept two candelabra base bulbs (not included), will come to you with updated wiring and modern cross bars needed for installation. They are priced as a pair and we are not willing to separate them.
