Second City Salvage is offering today this super cool pair of vintage c1930s industrial style pendants manufactured by Goodrich Electric Co., Chicago, IL. Made of cold rolled steel with a white porcelain enamel finish, the uniquely shaped bow-tie shape of these reflectors are meant to direct the light downward and these were originally meant to light up narrow library aisles. Porcelain enamel is in great shape with only a tiny bit of loss in spots and very minimal rusty spots. You have to look closely to find them and I consider those character adding bonuses. I have two pairs of these for a total of four and have them priced per pair. Please message me for additional photos, but they are all basically in the same great shape. Shade holders are original cast aluminum that hang on thick cord and attached to old canopies that were sprayed a Rustoleum silver. Wiring/cord is new. They measure 11 ½”w x 8”w and will drop 30” from the ceiling once installed. Canopies are 5 1/4’” dia x 2 1/2”h and the cord is 19”long. They accept a standard base bulb in original porcelain sockets and will also come with a modern cross bar needed for installation. These would be great over a kitchen counter/island or peninsula and would add a vintage touch to your even modern kitchen! Pair these with Edison bulbs shown (but not included) for a great vintage look!
