Second City Salvage is offering today this fantastic pair of antique brass sconces c1916 that have been completely restored and paired with these period Holophane shades in mint condition. All components of the light are brass and retain their original patina – they have only been lightly cleaned. Overall measurement is 6″w x 10″h, projection from the wall once installed is 8″. The period shades themselves are 6″ dia. x 4 3/4″h and have 2 ¼” fitters. They are marked “HOLOPHANE” on the edge of the fitters. The canopies measure 4 1/2″ dia, x 3″h. They accept a standard base bulb, will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for installation. The original Bryant paddle switch sockets have been restored and the original Uno shade holders are marked with a patent date of Dec. 24 ’16. These are great pieces of history for your period home and are priced as a pair. We are not willing to separate them.
