Second City Salvage is offering today this single Art Deco “Berkeley” sconce manufactured by JC Virden Lighting that has been restored. The frame of the light is made of cast aluminum. The slipper shade is made of a dark amber cast glass and is in good condition with some significant chips that are shown in the last 3 photos. These flaws are consistent with the age of the light. The frame of the light is marked JC Virden with a patent date of 1930. It measures 6 1/4“w x 12“h and will project 5“ from the wall once installed. It accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install.
