This wall sconce dates to the 1940s and would be the perfect light for a bathroom, bedroom, hallway or kitchen wall. The frosted glass cylinder shade is a new replacement. Overall measurement 5 1/2″w x 15 1/2″h x 6 1/4″d. Wall plate is 1 1/4″d and the shade is 4″ dia x 12″h. The fleur de lis accent on the bottom ring is made of brass and is a very nice accent to the piece. There is some cloudiness to chrome on the top of the wall plate and it’s your call to have it replated, but it’s really not noticeable unless scrutinized up close. And, the shade pretty much hides it. Otherwise, the chrome is in great shape with no rust or pitting. It accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install.
