Second City Salvage is offering today this nickel plated brass toilet paper holder manufactured by Good Mfg. that dates to 1925. It is nickel plated solid brass and retains the original patina and has the original hard wood spindle. There is some loss of finish to the nickel plating where the brass is showing through, but I think that adds to it’s character. It measures 6 1/4″w x 3 1/4″h and will extend 3″ from the wall once installed. Cost to replate this piece in polished nickel is $150 and add 4-6 weeks to the shipping time. Screw holes for install are 4 ½” on center. It is clearly stamped Good Mfg. Co. on the backside. A great way to dress up your otherwise boring vintage bathroom!
