Second City Salvage is offering today this rare JL Mott nickel plated brass toilet paper/tissue holder. Nickel plating is in great shape, with only a surface scratch to one and some minor tiny flecks and loss of finish to both as shown in the photos. Cost to replate the brackets in polished nickel is $150 additional and add 2-4 weeks to the shipping time. Spindle is the original spring loaded spindle in excellent condition. It measures 8-7″ overall, screw holes are 6-5″ on center and will extend 3 ¼” from the wall once installed. Can be installed shorter due to spring loaded spindle. Both one-piece nickel plated cast brass brackets are stamped “MOTT.” Last photo in the listing shows the holder in the 1908 JL Mott catalog. These don’t come up very often, and when they do, they don’t last for long. Thanks for looking!
