Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this antique towel bar that dates to around 1910. The 1″ hexagon milk glass bar with nickel plated stamped brass ends measures 26″ overall and will project 3 1/2″ from the wall once installed with the bar area at a very generous 22 1/2″. The bar is free of any chips that you can see. As far as the ends, there is a hunk missing on one end, but it still sits in the bracket good. You won’t see the missing hunk once the piece is installed. These milk glass hexagon bars are super rare. The brackets have suffered some loss of finish and some of the plating is wearing off, but still show nicely. Cost to have these replated in polished nickel is $150 and add 4-6 weeks to the shipping time. The piece is not marked. This towel bar will make a dramatic statement in your vintage bathroom or kitchen setting!
