Second City Salvage is offering today this antique nickel plated brass tumbler and soap dish/holder probably from around the early part of the 20th century c1905. It is unmarked, but could have been made by any one of the bathroom accessory manufacturers from the early 20th century – not all companies marked their pieces. The nickel plating for the most part is in exceptional condition except for a small part around the edge of the soap dish where there is some loss (last photo). This is an insignificant flaw and is pretty much covered up by the removable soap dish. It’s not notable, but I have to mention. Overall measurement is 5″w x 8″h and will project 6″ from the wall once installed. It’s a heavy piece and would be a great addition to your vintage or Victorian era bathroom!
