This is a nickel plated brass wall mount fixed towel ring that was manufactured by Silvers Brooklyn, NY which was one of the more high end makers of bathroom accessories toward the early part of the 20th century. It is marked as such on the mounting plate. Nickel plating is in exceptional condition with no visible loss of finish. It cleaned up great! The ring itself measures a generous 6″ in diameter and it will project 7″ from the wall once installed. It does not swivel on the mounting bracket so will mount horizontally or vertically and is large enough to accommodate a larger bath towel, not just smaller hand towels. Exactly what your vintage bathroom is looking for! This is a rare piece as in 20 years, I have not come across one of these.
