Description
Second City Salvage is thrilled to offer this Victorian/Aesthetic era transom window salvaged from an Eau Claire, WI residence a few years back. It has been restored from head to toe, but remains in the original wood frame that has some repairs. It features original ripple glass in shades of green, blue and amber roundels with a crimson center roundel and the jewel colors of the glass remain vibrant. It literally glows when the light hits it. Lovely center blue floral pattern. Weak joints have been resoldered and the lead caming remains strong. Overall in the frame measurement is 40″w x 23″h and the measurement for the glass only is roughly 36″w x 19″h. I will be listing another piece similar from the same home shortly so stay tuned on that end. A fabulous representation of the Victorian/Aesthetic era!
