Description
This transom window dates to the late 19th century or early 20th century. The frame is original, painted on both sides and is solid. The panel features a creamy gold opalescent textured glass border with a purple inside border as well, accented by green ribboned scrolling and a light blue center fleur de lis. It has gone through a full restoration so there are overlays to cover the various cracks and a couple of the missing pieces were replaced. This window is a very typical representation of the Aesthetic/Victorian era and was probably original to a farm house over a picture window. I was so thrilled to save her and have her restored back to her original glory. Overall measurement is 44″w x 19 1/4″h and the frame is 1 1/2″ thick. Measurement for the glass only is 39″w x 15 3/4″h.
