Second City Salvage is offering today this antique wall mount “Man’s” Shaving Mirror by Art Brass Ny (marked on the back). The frame is nickel plated brass and the glass is French plate and has a beveled edge. Glass is perfect with no chips and is clear with no loss of silvering just a few blemishes which is consistent with age. There is no loss to the nickel plating but it has aged over time to a nice patina. It measures 6″ x 8″ and will project 5″ from the wall once installed. The mounting piece has a toggle bolt so that it can be locked in place. Last photo in the listing shows this piece in the 1905 Art Brass NY Fine Bathroom Ware catalog.
