Second City Salvage is offering today this old nickel plated wall-mount brass cup/tumbler or shaving brush holder that dates to 1905. It was manufactured by Art Brass Co. NY and is stamped on the arm of the piece. There is also a small hook on the arm that would have accommodated a razor strop which makes me think this piece could have originally been a shaving brush holder. Patina is original, but there is a slight loss to the finish and a very tiny dent. There are just a couple of spots that are not really notable and show up in the photos, but I have to mention. It measures 3”w x 4 3/4”h and will project 4” from the wall once installed. The cup holder itself is 2 1/2” dia x 2”depth.
