Second City Salvage is offering today this amazing eight-light bare-bulb pendant light or chandelier in cast bronze that was salvaged from a commercial building in Chicago c1915. It is stamped, but the mark is indistinguishable. My research on this light tells me it was manufactured by Beardslee Williamson of Chicago of whom provided high end lighting to commercial buildings and theaters in Chicago at the early part of the 20th century. Lovely cast fleur de lis pattern borders this light with an ornate stem and original canopy. A very rare piece of Chicago history, although provenance was lost when it was removed from its original installation 20+ years ago. It measures 18 1/2″dia. and will drop 21″ from the ceiling once installed. I am showing this piece with 2″ hand painted bulbs that really fit the bill (not included). These can be purchased in LED through Filament Vintage Lighting. It will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. A truly great piece that will light up your home or commercial space for years to come.
