Second City Salvage is offering for sale this great old heavy brass 7 1/2″ door pull that was recently salvaged from a residence. It is a heavy piece (1 ¼ lbs.) and will project 2 1/4″ from the surface once installed and requires six screws (not included). Plates that attach to the surface are 2″ dia. It dates to around c1900. It was painted and lacquered when received and this is the patina we found underneath. It has only been lightly cleaned. Nicks, scratches and discoloration to the metal are consistent with age and use.
