Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this old transom window that dates to the early 20th century c1910-15 in its original painted frame (could be English). The center pattern in shades of deep blue, orange, red and green is what I would coin geometric, bordered by orange textured glass, all completely obscured so would be great for privacy . It could be hung or installed horizontally or vertically. Overall, it measures 29 3/8″w x 22 1/4″h x 1 2/4″” thick, and the measurement for the glass only is 24 1/2″w x 17 1/4″h. There are no cracks to the glass and the zinc caming remains strong. There are two rebars installed on one side of the window to give it extra strength. This piece is a wonderful representation of the Arts & Crafts era.
