Second City Salvage is offering today this old c1920 cast iron porch light/sconce that has been restored, but still retains its original rusty patina but it has been flat lacquered so it will not rust any further. A period white acorn glass shade has been added. Wall plate is 4 1/2″w x 9″h, overall height is 14″ x 6″w and the projection from the wall once installed is 8″. The shade is 6″w x 6″h and has a 3 1/4″ fitter. The shade is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is a rare find. This light has some very simple detailing and will be a great focal point for an entry way. The light accepts a standard base bulb, has been tested, will come to you with a new ceramic socket, updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. The shade does need to be removed for a bulb change so an LED is recommended.
