Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this way cool brass elongated neck sconce that dates to the early 20th century probably right around 1900. All components of this light are brass and retain the original patina. It has only been lightly cleaned. It measures 22″ from the wall to the edge of the shade x 4″h (add 2″ for bulb shown not included). The canopy is 4 ¾” dia x 4″h, and the bar is 13 ½” long up to the elbow. The period opal glass ruffled shade itself is 8″ dia x 2 ¼”h and has a 2 ¼” fitter. It is in mint condition. The light has been fully restored and will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. It accepts a standard base bulb and calls for an Edison bulb as shown in the listing (not included) to really ramp up the vintage vibe. Be creative with this piece! It would be great over a desk or over a side table. I love this light and have never come across one quite like it.
