Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this antique brass pendant c1904 that has been completely restored. It was painted when received so when all of that was removed, this was the patina we found underneath and it has only been lightly cleaned. All components are bare brass so will darken naturally. It measures 6″w and will drop 31″ from the ceiling once installed. The chain is 19″ long (height can be adjusted – each link is 1 ½”) and the original canopy is 4″ diameter x 3″h. The paddle switch socket is original and restored and the Hubbell shade holder is stamped two patent dates of Jul 23 ’03 and Feb 23 ’04. The shade is a period shade in clambroth glass in the Sheffield style which measures 6″ dia x 4″h and has a 2 ¼” fitter. It is in mint condition. It takes a standard base bulb, will come to you with period correct gold cloth wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. This great old pendant will be a wonderful enhancement to any vintage setting.
