Second City Salvage is offering today this antique c1915 double sconce in cast bronze with brass shade holders. It was formerly a gas light which has been converted to electric. A heavy and monumental piece, it has been paired with these etched/frosted glass period shades that are embossed with a geometric and floral pattern along the bottom edge. Dark patina is original – it has only been lightly cleaned. There are a few minor dents to one of the arms as shown in one of the close up photos. Overall measurement is 12″w x 15″h and will project 7 ½” from the wall once installed. The wall canopy is 4″w 8″h. The shades themselves are 4 1/4″ dia. x 5″h and have a 2 1/4″ fitter. There are no visible chips or cracks, but some rough spots along the bottom edge of the shades.
