Second City Salvage is offering today this old porcelain Art Deco wall sconce from the 1920s with an embossed milk glass shade. The rectangular streamline wall plate/fitter is in excellent condition and is free of chips or crazing. It was probably manufactured by Porcelier, but it is unmarked. The shade also remains undamaged. Overall, it measures 4″w x 5 ½”h and will project 8″ from the wall once installed. The backplate is 4″w x 5″h and the shade is 4″ w x 5 1/4″d and has a 2 1/4″ fitter. It has the original socket and pull chain switch and the outlet is connected and functional. It accepts a standard base bulb and will come to you with updated wiring and a modern cross bar needed for installation.
