Second City Salvage is offering today this vintage light blue porcelain bathroom set that dates to the 1940s and salvaged from a Minneapolis residence. It is comprised of two 1″ square glass towel bars with porcelain ends, a porcelain toilet paper holder and a soap dish that doubles as a grab bar. The towel bars are 20″w overall and will project 3″ from the wall once installed and the bar area is 16″. The tissue holder and soap dish are 6 1/4″w x 3″d. Both of these pieces are stamped “American Made in USA.” All pieces need to be mortared into the wall and we were able to chisel all of the original mortar off so these are ready to install. One of the towel bar ends had two small chips, but it can be installed so it won’t be seen from the front (last photo). Glass bars are in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. A very nice addition to your vintage bathroom setting!
