Description
Second City Salvage is offering today this antique c1920 brass pan light that has been restored from head to toe. All components are brass and it has been rewired with period correct gold cloth wiring. The light was lacquered when received and once that was all stripped off, this is the patina that we found underneath – just beautiful. The shades are period Brascolite Sheffield style clam broth glass shades that are in mint condition. They have a mark on the edge of the fitter “TRADEMARK” and there might be another, but it is not legible. Overall, the light measures 21″w and will drop 12″ from the ceiling once installed. The pan is 15 3/4″ dia. and the shades are 7″ dia. x 3″h and have 2 ¼” fitters. The light accepts four standard base bulbs, will come to you with updated wiring and modern cross bar needed for installation.
