Description

Second City Salvage is offering today this pair of c1910 cabinet doors that were salvaged from a Roseville, MN residence facing demolition. We are thrilled that we were able to save them, clean them up and offer them for sale!! They are comprised of original clear wavy glass set in flat oak frames with the original latches. Leads are in good shape and these sit firmly in the frames and pretty much need nothing except for being hung or installed and the simple pattern on these say less is more. Hinges are only half there so if you were to install them, you would have to complete them. They look to have gone through some level of restoration already as they have been recemented and joints have been resoldered in some places. There are two insignificant cracks on one panel that are shown in the last two pictures that can be covered by lead overlays, but I have elected to leave these alone. Cost for repair on these is approximately $100 so I can either have this done for you, or the buyer can have it done once they have them in hand. I would personally leave them be as they are not noticeable unless scrutinized up close. Each panel measures 15 3/4″w x 56 1/2″h and the frames are 7/8″ thick. Measurement for the glass only is 11 1/4″w x 51 1/2″h. A lovely representation of the Arts & Crafts era.

Second City Salvage will ship your item fully insured via white glove, blanket wrap carrier or commercial freight to the lower 48 states. Please contact us with your Zip Code for a quote. Local Twin Cities delivery is available and local pick up is free.
