Second City Salvage is offering today this old nickel plated brass wall-mount cup/tumbler or shaving brush and soap holder that dates to 1902 by The Brasscrafters and is marked as such. It is also stamped with two patent dates of Sept 9 1902 and Feb 2 1902. Patina is original and the nickel plating is exceptional with no real loss of finish except for on the soap dish where a bit of the brass is showing through – it has only been very lightly cleaned. The soap dish is removable and easily slides onto a bracket. Over all, the piece measures 4 3/4″w x 7 3/4″h and will project 5 1/2″ from the wall once installed.
