Description
Second City Salvage is thrilled to offer this c1895 Victorian piece of stained glass that was salvaged from a Chicago church recently. This was originally the bottom half of a double hung window that was 6′ tall, but the top 4′ were not able to be saved. It went through a full restoration and has a new lead frame. 95% of the glass is original with only some minor repairs done and all of the jewels are present and original. It is not in a wood frame and will be secured to a piece of plywood for safe transport. It measures 40 ¼”w x 24″h. A lovely example of Victorian glass from the late 1800s.
