These two old nickel plated brass light fixtures have been completely restored. The sconces is a gas/electric light that has been converted to electric and accepts both a standard base bulb on the bottom and a candelabra bulb on the top light. Finish on this light is original nickel plating which is in excellent condition considering its age c1905. However, there is some loss of finish to the canopy as shown in the photos. The sconce measures 4″w x 17″h to tip of bulb x 8″ projection. The canopy is 4 1/2″ dia. x 3″h and the shade is 4″w x 5 1/4″h with a 2 ¼” fitter. The pendant has been replated in polished nickel. It measures 4 1/2″w and will drop 20″ from the ceiling once installed. The chain is 5″ long, the canopy is 4 3/4″ dia x 4″h and the shade is 4 1/2″w x 6″h with a 2 ¼” fitter. Shade holder is stamped Pat Dec 24, 12. Socket has been replaced with a modern paddle switch socket. Wiring will be updated with period correct cloth wiring, will be tested and ready to install with a modern cross bar. It accepts a standard base bulb. Now for the shades! These opalescent art glass shades with a pulled feather pattern are old, c1905 and are either Steuben or Quezal glass, but are unmarked. Both are in mint condition with no condition issues. They are very similar, but not exactly the same. I feel that they cannot go on the same light, but could certainly go on separate fixtures and be installed in the same room. Price is for both lights.
