Description
Great old cylindrical Holophane shade that you don’t see very often at all. I am told this piece dates to the early 20th century so I’m giving it a circa date of around 1915 (give or take). The shade was salvaged from a Minneapolis factory building and I pretty much pulled it out of a pile, cleaned it up and matched it up with what you see here. Overall, the pendant light measures 5 1/2″w x 18″ drop and the shade has a 3″ fitter. The shade is far from perfect, but I think that the flea bite chips are what gives it its very special character. I did my best to capture all. I lit it up with a 100 watt Edison bulb (not included) and it emits some great light! Put it on a dimmer switch to calm things down. I love this light.
